OLD FASHIONED HARD TACK CANDY

paragraph 1

WENDY’S” CHOCOLATE SHAKE

I LOVE chocolate, sweet pies, and pastries more than most things in the world (that we eat)! Whilst surfing Pinterest I found a faux protein frosty shake that tasted DIVINE! 3/4 cup (6 ounces) almond milk or other unsweetened milk of your choice (coconut milk worked great) 3/4 to 1 cup of ice (crushed or cubed)

Pecan Pie Bars

Heat oven to 350°F.
Unroll dough and press in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of a 9x13-inch pan. Firmly press perforations to seal. Bake 8 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour filling over partially baked crust. Bake 18 to 22 minutes longer or until golden brown (mine took exactly 20 minutes).
Cool completely, about 1 hour, and cut into bars.

1 can crescent rolls (they now make it without seams) 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup 2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted 1 tsp vanilla 1 egg, beaten

Easy Olive Cheese Bread

Ingredients
One 14.5 oz can Black Olives, drained
One 6 oz. jar Pimiento-Stuffed Green Olives, drained
2 Green onions
½ cup {1 stick} Butter, softened
½ cup Mayonnaise {real mayo ~ no substitutions}
1 pound Monterey Jack Cheese, grated
1 loaf crusty French Bread
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Roughly chop black olives
Roughly chop green olives
Roughly chop green onions
Grate cheese
In large bowl, combine Butter, Mayo, Grated Cheese, Chopped Olives and Green Onions
Stir it all up until thoroughly combined.
Slice bread in half lengthwise
Spread the mixture in an even layer on each half.
Bake on a cookie sheet for 20 – 25 minutes, until cheese is melted and beginning to bubble.
Cut into diagonal slices and serve immediately… yum!

Sweet Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

2 Chicken Breasts
1/2 tsp each Salt & Pepper
2 TBSP Olive Oil + more for drizzling
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
2 TBSP Brown Sugar
Preheat oven to 450˚ F.

Place chicken breasts in baking dish. (I advise using nonstick foil. Once this is cooked, there is a lot of mess leftover. It just makes cleanup easier.) Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.

In a saucepan, heat 2 TBSP olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic to heated oil. Cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the brown sugar. Stirring until combined. Spread the brown sugar mixture evenly over each piece of the side that is facing up.

When oven is heated, bake chicken for 15-20 minutes. Remove and serve.

If feeding more than two people, I would use 1 TBSP Olive Oil and 1 TBSP Brown Sugar per breast, and garlic to taste. Enjoy!

3/4 cup (6 ounces) almond milk or other unsweetened milk of your choice (coconut milk worked great)

1/3 to 1/2 medium banana (or sweetener of your choice: Agave, Stevia, dates)
Put all together in your blender and blend away! You will need a spoon – It’s THAT GOOD!!
